| My
personal attitude and the guiding philosophy behind RichardGaultney.Com on: |
- How
to best teach Public Speaking Training
- How to best help
people overcome their fears of speaking in public
- How to best motivate others to make the development of their
own personal
growth a high priority in their lives, and to see that personal growth and
a healthy
self-esteem go hand in hand.
|
| It's
Simple: |
- Total commitment to give my best effort
with every class, workshop or seminar offered to the public.
- Lifelong
passion and enthusiasm for the subjects of Speech Communication
Training,
Self-help Philosophy and Motivational Speaking.
- A sensitivity for those who
fear Speech performance classes / workshops, and the capacity
to create a classroom atmosphere
relaxed and favorable enough
for them to overcome or take control of their fears.
- Capable of seeing each
student, Workshop or Seminar participant as a unique person,
and a willing-ness to teach to that uniqueness to the best of my
ability.
- A willingness to continue to be a student
as I teach; that is, to be receptive to learning from my students.
- Ability and
willingness to monitor how well my teaching is getting across,
and the flexibility to adjust accordingly.
- Capable of also seeing each student, Workshop
or Seminar participant as a money-paying consumer who deserves to
get his or her money’s worth from me.

|
In addition to extensive, past college
classroom teaching experience to draw on, I bring over 20 years
of private sector experience as a self-employed entrepreneur and
businessman.
Then, as now,
my personal and financial survival hinges on my ability to clearly and persuasively
sell myself
and my company. My varied, and collective experiences in life, uniquely enable
me to now enter the
classroom, Workshop or Seminar Event with enough deep down, tried and tested
convictions and know-
how to positively motivate and teach students to become the most effective communicators
they can be. |

P.S.
Getting your act together or improving your speaking skills,
is serious business.
But, when approached playfully, skillfully,
and with a light, non-judgmental touch,
participant inhibitions
and fears have
a way of drying up very quickly. As a result,
dramatic and positive results
soon follow. |
