This class is designed to attract: All ages; Both sexes; Those
from
all cultures and all walks of life. (No prior training is necessary). |

| From
the time we get up in the morning till we go
to sleep at night, we are talking,
sometimes verbally, and almost always, non-verbally. |
|
Speech
Communication lets others know our needs and
desires. It gets us a job, out of a jam or into a
terrible fix. It finds us an even better job, and, hopefully,
the right mate. Sometimes, it simply helps us get along better
with our friends, family, neighbors or co-workers.
The ability to speak well,
to express yourself clearly, effectively, lovingly, gently and,
when necessary, forcibly, is one of the greatest assets you
could obtain. This is one tool that will last you for a lifetime. |
Surprisingly,
getting up to the podium, and then sitting down again afterwards,
is the hardest part.
Once you get the hang of making graceful entrances and exits,
the rest of your speech is a “piece of cake.” It
is if you: Speak on what you are passionate about, and Practice!

this course is to: |
- Help you overcome your stage fright.
- Teach you to make effective, confident entrances
and exits to and from the podium.
- Teach you to be prepared for the unexpected when
speaking.
- And then, Teach you the basics of crafting and
delivering effective speeches.

We start with
fun, innovative class room exercises, designed to relax
you and make you
feel more comfortable with your class mates, and with the idea
of speaking in front of, and to
groups of people. Then, with a series of equally fun
class projects, we show you how to con-
struct and give effective speeches. Erase that thought!
Instead of thinking of it as giving
speeches, think of it as telling stories. Everybody
has a good story to tell, many of them,
in fact. So, this class is designed as a lab experience
where you learn to tell your story well,
whatever that story may be.
The college bound
will find our Classes or Workshops a great prerequisite for
tackling
that first dreaded college Speech Class all
students must take. In fact, you will learn
almost everything taught in most beginning, college Speech Classes.
The only difference is:
Our approach is more
performance oriented. You learn best
by doing and doing often.
The fun, the laughter, the
bonding of friendships, plus learning how to
free
yourself from that unreasonable fear (Stage
