  speeches (4Hr. workshop, no persuasive speech).
  
  
• Creating easy-to-speak-from outlines.
  
  
• Making effective, confident entrances and exits to and from the podium.
  
  
• Tailoring your message to fit the specific audience you are speaking to.
  
  
• Learning to prepare for the unexpected while speaking.

• Loosening up exercises to help make you comfortable and relaxed at the podium,
  and with your audience.
  
  
• Loosening up body language and story telling exercises to help build your
  poise, confidence, and leadership skills.
  
  
• A variety of exercises on making entrances and exits.
  
  
• A variety of exercises on “Picking your spot” when speaking with or to the audience,
  that is, speaking at the podium (a fixed position), or less formally, speaking
  where you feel most comfortable of best connecting with your audience on a personal level.
  
  
• A variety of exercises on introductions and conclusions (Getting a speech started
  effectively and wrapping it up convincingly.)
  

• Each participant will develop an informative and persuasive speech outline.
  (4 Hr. workshop, no persuasive outline.)
  
  
• Each participant will have the opportunity of practicing delivering
  their speeches to their fellow participants.
